The Wadia Republic is ruled by a cynical and repressive leader named Hafiz Aladdin. Aladdin is invited to a United Nations gathering in New York City to address concerns about his country's nuclear weapons program, but the trip goes awry. Aladdin is Wadia's arrogant dictator, who hates practically everyone in his country, even his confidants. He travels to New York to speak in the Assembly about his country's nuclear weapons.
But suddenly someone is appointed to protect him, grabs him and shaves off his trademark beard and is about to kill him if something happens and he escapes, he tries to go to the United Nations but his men kill him. A double is placed in place and he speaks as the United Nations announces that it plans to convert Wadia to a democracy. Aladdin tries to get in but is kept out. A woman opposing Aladdin caught hold of him. She offers him a job that is foreign to him.
